As fans of Corrie will know, Sally Webster (Sally Dynevor) is smitten with Tim Metcalfe (Joe Duttine) but is she sufficiently in love with Tim that she’ll let him make a fool of her?

As she fields questions from her nosey workmates about her love life, it’s clear she’s revelling in the attention. But later, how will Tim react when Sally asks him to be her plus one at Stella’s wedding?
Evidently, not well, because Sally’s brought down to earth with a bump as Tim makes it clears that he’s just looking for a bit of fun. However, when Tyrone (Alan Halsall) later warns Tim not to mess Sally around, saying there’s no half-way measures with her, will he have a change of heart? Or will it make him more resolved than ever that he doesn’t want a serious romance?
It seems his decision is made when, on Wednesday, Sally’s dolled up to the nines as she waits for Tim to escort her to Stella and Karl’s wedding reception, but as time ticks away, it looks like Tim’s stood her up…
On Friday, while Jenna (Krissi Bohn) tries to cheer Sally up with a bottle of wine and a DVD, she tells Sally that she can do better than Tim. However, as it seems Sally’s wavering, Jenna urges her not to give him the benefit of the doubt by calling him.
However, later, Sally’s gutted when she receives a dismissive text from Tim, who clearly doesn’t feel any guilt about standing her up.
Is it all over between them?
